Eligibility critaria:
For IES exam & coaching for mechanical/civil engineering, candidate or student should have a Bachelor degree in any Technology stream and can also have architecture, Engineering, B.Sc. or post diploma degree.
Master of Computer application i.e MCA student those who are in the final year ca nalso apply.
Pattern for Entrance Exam:
The IES 2015 examination will consists of a single paper of 3-hour duration with 65 question of 100 marks. However this time, there will be two types of question that will be asked in IES 2015 exam.
1. Multiple objective Questions (MOQ): The MOQ questions carrying 1 or 2 marks each that will be asked in all the examination papers. Four options will be given for a question and the students has to select the right answer from the given choices.
2. Numerical Answer Questions: Numerical answer type questions are asked in only some papers. There will not be any choices given for these questions. The candidates have to solve down the numerical question to get the right answer in provided box of the examination with the online keyboard.
3. Marking Scheme: For 1-mark multiple-choice questions, negative marking of 1/3 marks will be deducted for a wrong answer. Same as, for 2-marks multiple selection questions, 2/3 marks will be deducted as negative marking.
